Processing Flow of Soybean Oil Production
Seed Pretreatment – Soybeans are cleaned using vibrating screens, destoners, and magnetic separators to remove impurities. Dehulling and flaking machines prepare the beans for efficient oil extraction.
Solvent Extraction – Using advanced continuous extractors (such as rotocel or chain extractors), oil is extracted with food-grade solvent, ensuring high oil yield. The desolventizer-toaster system recovers solvent and improves meal quality.
Oil Refining – Crude soybean oil is refined through degumming, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization to produce high-quality edible oil. Optional winterization ensures clarity and stability for bottled oil.
By-Product Processing – High-protein soybean meal is produced as a valuable co-product, widely used in animal feed industries.
