Process Flow of Coconut Oil Production Line
Coconut Dehusking and Deshelling
Fresh coconuts are mechanically dehusked and deshelled to obtain clean coconut kernels. However, most of our clients usually purchase dried coconuts (copra) directly, which allows them to skip the dehusking and deshelling step and simplifies the initial processing.
Coconut Kernel Preparation
Kernels are washed, dried, and cut into small chips to facilitate oil extraction.
Oil Extraction (Cold Press or Solvent Extraction)
- Cold Press: For producing Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO), coconut chips are mechanically pressed at low temperatures to preserve natural flavor and nutrients.
- Solvent Extraction: For large-scale RBD oil production, pretreated copra (dried coconut kernels) undergoes solvent extraction to achieve a higher oil yield.
Oil Refining
The crude coconut oil is refined through degumming, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization to produce high-quality RBD coconut oil with longer shelf life.
Packing and Storage
Final products are filled into bottles, pouches, or drums according to customer requirements, ensuring hygiene and convenience.
